Senior Portrait Photography
Let us showcase the real you with a photo session that captures your unique style and personality at this transitional time in your life. Because every senior is different, we tailor each session to best bring out all those special qualities and interests that really make you who you are today. Whether you are a natural born model who loves being in front of the camera, or someone who's a little more reserved, we walk you through the session step by step and make it easy and fun to get the beautiful artistic images you are looking for.
When should I book?
Senior portrait sessions can be scheduled year round, with fall and spring being the most popular times. If you are planning to use the images for your grad announcements, party invitations, or thank you notes, schedule your session at least 6-8 weeks prior. Our weekends fill up fast so book early for best availability.
What should I bring?
This session is all about you, and the interests that define you as a person. Show that off by bringing some props such as musical instruments, sports equipment and/or your letterman jacket, your favorite dance or theatrical costume from the year, your artwork, even your pet! You should also bring multiple outfit changes ranging from casual to dressy (including your cap & gown if you are looking for that traditional "I graduated" shot!)
Where does the shoot take place?
Senior portrait photography sessions can take place in a variety of locations. Whether you want to shoot on the beach, downtown, at one of the local parks, or somewhere that has personal meaning to you... we are happy to make recommendations based off your interests and the style you are looking to convey. We also can shoot at your home or in our Alameda studio.
How long does the session take?
Sessions range from a quick 30 minute - one look shoot, to a two hour deluxe session. It all depends on how many different photos and looks you are hoping to achieve. "The Graduate" one hour session is our most popular for senior portraits as we can get a few different looks in a relatively short amount of time.
