Business Branding Photos for the Bay Area’s Eyelid Expert!
Dr. Ann Jarayam is a Board Certified Oculoplastic Surgeon, and CEO of Ellevate MD, an Atherton-based cosmetic surgery office specializing in eyelids and facial aesthetics. I first worked with her in 2021, when she was named San Francisco’s Most Eligible Bachelorette by the Nob Hill Gazette! I’m honored that we’ve been able to work together for several years now.
Not long ago, Dr. J reached out for business branding content for her website and social media. This included updated headshots for her and her amazing team, as well as some lifestyle photos showcasing the office environment and the excellent work they do there.

For the headshot background, we decided to go with their company’s brand color, pink. (Company tagline? Pink Glove Service!) I accomplished this color by shining a light with a pink gel on an off-white background.
We did two batches of headshots; the second one in scrubs to highlight the profession. I also used a mottled background with slightly softer natural lighting.

Dr. Jarayam and I share an enthusiasm for efficiency! Since we got so much accomplished in our allotted time, we did some quick-change casual looks toward the end of the photoshoot, to capture a little more of her fun and fashion-forward side
